What to Expect once we get started?

Your comfort is important to us. When you walk into our studio, or hop inside our tent you have entered a safe, judgment-free zone. You will get undressed to your comfort as a fine mist of the primer will be lightly sprayed onto your skin, thoroughly drying it off. After, the spray tan gun will be turned on and we will begin spraying you with the tanning solution. Be aware that the spray tan solution can feel cold, we do our best to keep you and the room warm.

After applying two coats of tanning solution to your skin, you will be dried off with warm air and dusted off with our drying powder. Once finished, you can get dressed. This whole process takes about 20 minutes.

 

How does Dat Glow Mobile Tanning work?

We come to you at the location you provide, with all the necessary things you may need for your spray tan. Our professional tent pops up anywhere in the house, bathroom, living room, patio or kitchen space you would like to use. You then hop inside the tent, our glow gal sprays you for about 8-10 minutes and voila!….. you are immediately all natural tan looking.  The spray tan will continue to develop and become darker over the next 6 to 12 hours. So no need to worry there is no mess, no damage, no clean up or smell in the house.

 

How safe are the products?

These products have been extensively tested and are very safe on all skin types.  Most other tanning solutions are loaded with toxic ingredients that absorb directly into your skin and can cause problems. These solutions are the first cosmeceutical tanning products that are safe and does not contain any harmful chemicals, perfumes, alcohol, or dyes.

 

How long will my Dat Glow Tan last?

You can expect your spray tan to last for about 7 to 10 days depending upon your skin type, preparation, and care.  Regular moisturizing will extend the life of the tan.

 

How long until I can shower?

If you have chosen the Regular Rinse we recommend once your tan is applied, wait at least 8 hours to wet the skin after the tanning session. No shower or bath for at least 8 hours ( it is best to wait until the next morning) your tan will last longer.

If you have chosen the Rapid Rinse solution, it is extremely important that you rinse at the time we have recommended for you (typically 2-5 hours after solution is applied). Please keep in mind that both the Rapid and Regular Rinse solutions take 24 hours to fully develop.

We also recommend that you don’t exercise or perspire excessively until the next day after your tan or your first rinse. When you do your second rinse don’t scrub your body with a rough wash cloth (use hands and soap only) and pat dry your body. Also when you initially rinse off you may see some of the initial bronzer wash off that’s totally normal.
